Hi, currently separated from my wife of almost 15 years following her affair with her married ex-husband.

her family have cut me off and I have nobody

Ive been accused of gaslighting her, but I can’t see it only that she has misunderstood messages I have sent and chosen to take the message from them in a way that supports her agenda.

She does keep coming back to me for comfort, and all of the parts of our relationship that she depends on and then panics and cuts me out because if she admits that she still is in love with me it means yet again she has ripped apart the family because of her issues causing her to run and then being manipulated by her ex who has a terminally ill wife into giving him sex in payment for being there for her.

I have been significantly ill also and had got trapped inside my illnesses letting them control me rather than me controlling how I deal with them which I am now doing.
