Icebreaker time! When are you the most
Hi lovelies!
As you all may or may not know, I am the new community mentor for the Relationship and Friendship support sub-community! I am so happy to be here and I can't wait.
Here is my first icebreaker!
When are you the most you?
Example: For me, I am the most "me" when I am sitting outside on my patio, beautiful sunny day, drinking my vanilla latte, and hanging out with my mom. My mom and I do this every weekend morning in the summer and it's what I look forward to on the weekends. I don't care at all how I look, I'm in my own house and feeling so rested and ready for the brand new day!
I can't wait to hear everyone's responses :)
xoxo
I am the most me when I'm with my mum ❤ I can be grumpy, or tired, quiet or silly. I don't have to pretend to be happy or energetic when I am really fatigued or sad. I can just be simply me and she doesn't mind or judge 😊
I'm the most me when i'm either skateboarding or driving my motorcycle. i can just focus on my hobby and let my mind wander at the dame time. im quite at peace then. thats what makes me happy and shows the true me :)
@malserdanmals
Hey, skateboarding and driving a motorcycle sound a lot of fun. Indulging into your hobbies is a form of self care and what better way to feel like yourself while letting your thoughts loose, enjoying the breeze and indulging in your hobby at the same time.
when I don't feel like I'm unsafe, when I dont have massive amounts of trauma to recover from. When I don't have people trying to "teach lessons"
@dworth257
Hey there, that definitely sounds like something which would give me unnecessary pressure or make me someone who I'm not. If you'd like to talk more about it, we're here for you, please feel free to connect with a listener.
Thank you for participating ❤️
@dworth257 I can totally relate to that sometimes just taking a walk and enjoying nature and not having to face those pains just for a little bit is when I'm most free I understand completely I have been having to face my past traumas and just a minute away from those are when I'm most me
I'm the most "me" when I'm well-rested in the morning with a coffee and don't have writer's block. That's just the perfect setting for me to let my thoughts flow freely.
@adaptableSky2761
That's very much relatable for me. Coffee and writing with the morning breeze out on the porch is the perfect combo.
Thanks for participating ❤️
I'm most me when I'm writing my feelings into poetry
