I can't guarantee you that you'll get what you want out of this situation, but by telling him that you don't want to divorce you make your intentions clear. If your husband feels like a divorce is necessary, then that's also a datapoint. Ask him why he wants to divorce. Ask him if he doesn't think there's another way. Sit down and get to the root of it.
