Her heart was pounding as she made it to the final stair,

Her dainty fingers trembling against the winged ring she wore.

She stood on the edge of the place, the place which she could no longer bear.

For the last time, Hoping for a call she knocked on the angels door,

Just to be pierced with arrows of agony which seemed to glare.

She was about to end a tale as her heart went ashore.

"Who's life am I living unfair? ",

She whispered to the sky, as the earth seemed to snore.

Suddenly a gush of wind kissed her teary-sneaked face,

Lifting her chin up to gaze at the stars faint light.

She stepped back with wide eyes shifting her gaze,

To the countless voices of the night.

In a fleeting moment her baby mongrel jumped onto her knocking her into a daze,

She embraced it tight.
