@VIVI1989 Hello, I wish you enjoyable reading! The book I'm about to recommend isn't pure romance. It is journey of a girl who loses her lover due to family and political problems (this isn't spoiler since it is stated in the first chapter at the beginning). It is heartwarming story because you go through butterflies, girls first love and all its beauties and pains. Also, it is historical book, if you like those type of books I highly recommend. My friends didn't like it because of the end, but I think it is the ending we all need. Meaning that life doesn't always end up how we wanted, but what happens is the thing we needed. Name of the book is "The Stationery Shop of Tehran" by Kamali Marjan. If you do read it, let me know what you think about it.

@lamimoon Also, I forgot to add. Main character is book lover and their love starts in a stationary shop, as the title shows. :)

@lamimoon Hii (: srry for the late reply, my notifs are kind of weird right now. Also yes, i love historical, and also like plots w romance that aren't exactly 100% about romance. I'll definitely check it out, thanks for the recommendation!!

I would recommend heartstopper by Alice Ossman it’s a very sweet queer story!

(I would recommend more but I read a lot of sad/tragic gay romance)

@TaylorTheFrog Ahh thanks, already read it though (although technically the webtoon), and watched the show. I loved it, it was so cute 🥺

I don't know much about modern romance novels, but if you'd like to read a classic, both Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice are great books and still entertaining to read even though they're older. :)
