Introduction
The Social Soldiers project was created with the intent on eliminating the stigma that comes along with mental illness on social media, guiding those who are depressed/having a hard time/need someone to talk to right here to 7CupsOfTea. As Laura explained in her lovely thread right here, we need to be here for people who may feel as though they have no other place to turn.
What are Social Soldiers?
Social Soldiers are people that use 7Cups-designated social media to guide people in the right direction, hopefully leading them to the site where they can talk to someone who truly cares. They use the handles Twitter, Reddit and/or Tumblr, and check the tags for depression, or self harm, or anything along those lines.
Who can be a Social Soldier?
Anyone! Thats the beauty of this project; literally anyone can get involved with it.
What isnt a Social Soldier?
Sharing your own personal social media with other members/listeners.
Someone that shares their personal social media in this thread.
Just to debunk a question that may be asked, you can totally share your referral link on your personal social media handles, however we do ask that you dont share your personal social media handle here. If you have a big following on Twitter, and youd rather use your personal account to spread the word, thats totally okay, just do not share with other members/listeners your personal account. If you have any questions on this, feel free to PM me.

Its not possible to have friends and family entertain you all the time.
If you are studying, probably you have lot of college mages, class mates etc. Make friends with them. To clap you need two hands....if you don't go and talk to people, why would anyone talk to you.
So, next time you are in school or college, go up to someone and say 'hello'. Start a conversation..that's how to meet people, make acquantances, and who knows, they may become your friends over a period of time.
I know you can't read/study all the time. Once in a while read books, watch movies, listen to music, draw, paint. Sign up to learn an instrument, join a hobby class, these are places where you can meet new people.
If you are studying, i believe you must be a student. Your single minded focus must be to do well in studies, get good scores, get good job and do well in life. If you focused on this, you would not be worried about other things.
So, when you go to college, meet some new people, say hello to your own classmates.

Im becoming a intern on 7 cups starting from tommorow so one of my task is to spread 7 cups.

Love the idea
A week ago, I was suicidal. I was ready to throw it all away because I felt like I had no reason to live. But, then I followed a prompting that I had been ignoring for a while. I read the scripture for ten minutes every day. Since then, I learned that the reason I am the way I am is because of a hereditary condition. Now I can learn the way I need to because I know how to get around it. And since then I learned that there I someone that really needs me. I will stick around for them because I know it would devastate them if I did something drastic. I'm not trying to push my religion, but if you ever get a prompting, if any kind, take it, see where it takes you. Allow it to inspire you
