November - Chronic Illness/Pain Observances
This month hosts a variety of health awareness observances!
These include the following observances regarding chronic conditions:

COPD Awareness Month
GERD Awareness Week (22 - 28 Nov)
Here are a few activities you can take part in throughout the rest of this month:
We will be having discussions throughout this month in order to honour this. They will focus on chronic pain/illness, but we will also have specific ones regarding Diabetes and RSD/CRPS. (Are you a listener who would like to write discussions for more? Click here!).

Note: Invisible illnesses are chronic illnesses and conditions that significantly impair normal activities of daily living and are not immediately apparent. For example, people with visual or auditory disabilities who do not wear glasses or hearing aids, or with discreet hearing aids, may not be obviously disabled. Other examples include people with lupus, fibromyalgia, Crohns disease or allergies.

Can the discussions be added to the calendar? There are some people I know who would be interested but they aren't on the tag list. It also helps me to remember!

The discussion on the 15th was on the calendar, and the others are waiting for approval (as submissions to the calendar do not automatically appear, they have to manually be accepted) @AffyAvo
