Forum Hunt: 15 Cups of Tea!
Hey lovely people! In honour of 7 Cups 5th Birthday, 15 of our awesome subcommunities have joined forces to bring you a forum hunt!
Heres how it will work… Below I will list each community, and a clue to a thread within that community. You have to go search through their forums (all subcommunity forums are listed on the right hand side of the 7cups.com/home page!) and find that thread. The correct thread will have this cup image at the bottom of the initial post. Click the cup and answer the questions in the form it takes you to!
Try to answer as many as you can - youll get points for each question you answer correctly!
And one last thing… each and every person who participates in the forum hunt will get a personalised 5th birthday image, as well as the limited edition 7 Cups 5th Birthday badge!
Any questions? Comment below in this thread, or if you are a teen you can pm me.
And one final rule: have fun!
Clues
Anxiety support: What resource has a numbered technique to help with panic attacks?
Around the world: Learning a new 'This' is to have one more new window to look at the world.
Community projects: It's the thread where you can sign up to promote mental health awareness through 7Cups social media accounts and referring them to 7Cups community.
Depression support: You can write anything you want to your depression if it were a person.
Eating disorder support: Is your birthday coming up? Let us know and we'll celebrate it with you!
General support: This is where I can find a list of listeners who offer support in languages other than English.
Healthy living support: How can modern technology help you stay on track in your Healthy Living goals?
Help wanted: This is where we recruited for help with the 7Cups 5th birthday planning.
LGBTQ+/MOGII support: What are some fun things you can compare with LGBTQ+ identities?
Mindfulness centre: I just found a lot of resources with relaxing music and videos.
Motivation & self help: The thread is where you can message your your future self, your better version and much improved self that motivates you to strive harder towards growth and success.
Parenting & pregnancy support: Here's where you can apply to join the Parenting and Pregnancy Support Team.
Relationship support: 'They' teach you that you can be anything in the world you want to be. 'They' go through sacrifices for us and they shower a kind of love that is selfless and unconditional.
Self harm recovery: A gentle, colorful and precious creature that can help all of us a lot if we take good care of it and protect it.
Student support: Here's where you can write a letter to your past student self.
Note: Teen Only Zone was substituted for self harm recovery due to TOZ now being badge locked to teens. If you found the teen thread before, there is no need to look for the self harm recovery thread. You can for fun if you want, but it won't be counted in your points tally!

I love this idea @PhoenixAsh! Do we put the answers on this thread?
@Raspberrycheesecake Nope! Follow the clues to the thread and click the cup there - you can put answers in the form that pops up!
Love it!!!
So when you find the cup image, you have to post in that patparticu thread?
@black1995
theres a little cup at the bottom of the first post in the thread that you can click on. It will ask you for your username and have a question that you can can submit the answer to
@Hamilfan77 oh thanks!
@PhoenixAsh
is this the type of thing where we should be scrolling through all the threads or will it be easier to find?
@Hamilfan77
im so sorry this posted so many times by the way. Stupid glitch
@Hamilfan77 All good, I deleted your duplicates :P I noticed you've found them all now, so I'm guessing it wasn't too difficult!
Yay, I'm so excited! Thanks for putting this together for us @PhoenixAsh and @windflowers you guys are awesome!
@MelAllyouneedislove
Thank you for helping out, Mel!
The answer for question 1 is wrong, per the Anxiety and Depression Association of America: https://adaa.org/about-adaa/press-room/facts-statistics. It shows SAD is more than twice as prevalent as GAD.
@Ann5 You're right! I misread the stats for that D: It's been fixed now
@Ann5 @phoenixash
When you google "what is the most common anxiety disorder" an automated response shows up saying GAD is the most common one and it's even from that same website
@purpleHeart16 where do you see that? I tried googling again, I can see that it mentions that GAD is the most common among older adults, but I don't see anywhere where it mentions that it is the most common overall
@PhoenixAsh Hey! I decided to participate too.. :P XD.
Okay so, for the Eating Disorder Riddle, the answer can be two (one is a formerly recognized term and another is a new term, I have provided the new term) and for Parenting Riddle, I have inserted a word before the answer hence it was marked incorrect but since it'll be manually reviewed, I didnt submit another form.:
) There are a few other questions where I felt could have been a different answer too. And there were a few forms where I inserted articles before the required word. One of the answer, I couldn't guess ( Community Projects Riddle since it was a little difficult to understand what it is indicating to) and I got another answer wrong but I had so much of fun! <3
Thanks to everyone else who helped organize it! <3
@YourFriendforever Thanks for the feedback! Don't worry about the ones with little differences - you'll get the point for it when we review ^-^ Same goes for some of the ones where there could be more than one answer if we missed one
@PhoenixAsh Thanks! <3 It has been an interesting hunt!
i finished them all, even though some of them were super hard to find. :P
i hope i did okay. :3
@snowbunny107
Thank you for participating; hope you had fun!
@PhoenixAsh I think with the >current news< regarding the Teen Only Zone SC one of the cups hidden just got inaccessible for quite some people here. I am wondering is there maybe a way around it or some way this could be helped?
I mean as I do have not direct way to contact you I would like to offer my help and/or support here as it seems the SHR SC was not part of this whole thing and maybe it would be possible to relocate that cup there of which I would be glad to help with although I am not sure how realistic it may be in the middle of the already on-going Forum Hunt here.
@redmark Yeah, that's a little frustrating, I was caught out on the timing of that one :') Sure, we can relocate to SHR! We didn't get a response from the leaders there initially, so if you can send a thread and riddle here that would be super helpful :o I'll just edit out the info as soon as I see it :P
@PhoenixAsh Hey, I can add it to the LGBTQ+/MOGII shared 5th birthday thread to the discussion tab - I mean we both can access that and it would be much less public than here. Would that work?
I mean, the lucky thing is that we have been already planning a Forum Hunt for 1000 Friends in the SHR SC which never really happened due to some difficulties and mostly lack of time but I do have prepared clues for 7 threads actually already of which I can share one with you
@PhoenixAsh On a second thought I am not sure how we could really "hide" anything without the mean of talking to you privately but probably we can figure something out still with the help of probably someone being the mediator or something >.<
