7 February: Friendship Day on 7 Cups!

Our long awaited 7 Cups Friendship Day is finally here! In this day, we will be commemorating 3 observances- Send a Card to a Friend Day (7 February), Wave All your Fingers at your Neighbour Day (7 February) and Make a Friend Day (11 February)! Really exciting, huh? We have so many fun and awesome activities coming up to celebrate this day together- fun discussions and awesome forum and feed activities!

We are commemorating Send a Card to a Friend Day to show appreciation for our friends! Sometimes we are really so busy with our lives, and sometimes we may take our friends for granted unintentionally, so this day is about giving your friends the appreciation that they deserve for all that they have done for you! Reflect back on all the good times with your friends and show how awesome and lucky you are to have these friends supporting them behind your back by sending them a note (card ) of appreciation!

How about Wave All Your Fingers at your Neighbour Day? Most of us have neighbours, but how many of us actually greet our neighbours as we walk past them everyday? As the saying goes, it's easier to depend on your neighbours for help than to depend on your distant relatives! Let's start today by building good relationships with your neighbours by waving all your fingers at them- literally waving at them A simple hello is all it takes to start a friendship with your neighbours!

Oh oh, lastly we have our Make a Friend Day! We are often so pre-occupied with our lives and leave so little time for friendships- be it old or new ones. We hope that you make at least one new friend in this upcoming day- (yay new connections ), be it through 7 Cups or offline platforms! Friends are so valuable and having more doesn't hurt!

After looking at the significance of each observance, 7 Cups Friendship Day is really a meaningful way to celebrate, right? So we have activities planned for you in the upcoming 3 days to celebrate this meaningful day together! (Yes, I know- it's supposed to be a day, not 3 days XD but it's just too exciting that we have so many things planned up and the only good way is to spread the activities over a 3-day period )
