5th Birthday Paper Plate Awards!!! Accepting Nominations!
In honor of 7 Cups 5th birthday 
, we want to make sure there is ample time appreciating and honoring all of the special contributions made to the community and all of the milestones achieved in the last year.
So... today, we invite you to nominate yourself or others for a special paper plate aware. All are welcome to nominate!
What is a Paper Plate Award?
A paper plate award is an award given to a community member for their unique personality and contribution to the community. We will give a select # of these out as part of one of our 5th birthday party events. As usual, nominations must come from all of you. GET CREATIVE, be spunky, thoughtful, honest, silly, kind, supportive, open, kooky and fun! All ideas welcome!
You may submit as many nominations as you like!
On Tuesday, July 3 at 3 PM ET, we will have a celebration to announce all of the paper plate awards and honor all of those who were nominated!! In other words, get ready to party!!!!!

This sounds like a wonderful idea! I've never heard of a paper plate award but they sound super cool :p
Can I just say that this idea is very wasteful. The use of disposable paper plates is harming the environment because the plate is used once and then thrown away to landfills. A better option is to digitize the message you would like to send so no waste is produced. I thought 7 cups would be more environmentally aware.
