Personal Shoutouts:

@Zarram77: I completed my Bachelors in Applied Psychology, I have graduated from LDP and QLP programs, I fought severe ear infection, and learnt listening skills.

@cutiebutterfly: I overcame my anxiety and performed in a play in front of a crowd after years of quitting theatre club.

@CalmWaves3939: I passed my health and social care level 3 course with an A grade! I am looking to apply to universities this October so I can start Sep 2023 doing children's nursing! <3

@NightWitch: I was able to go to the dentist twice, even with my high anxiety level and my agoraphobia

@Applemorgan: So on June 16, 2022 I made the big desicion to drive alone with my dog from North Carolina to New Jersey. This is the longest trip I have ever taken by myself...due to my sever tunnel vision when driving. I decided that I was gonna leave a domestic violence realtionship and do better for myself. I made the trip and I succeeded....safely and without a scratch.

@emotionalTalker2260: I had a smooth transition from the teens side of cups to the adults side. And I’m proud for the amount of friends i have made. They are all so lovely 💖 and an offline goal I have achieved, is being more independent, i have ran around town, caught busses to particular locations, walked all the way from home into the main part of town, walked from town all the way to the hospital and all the way home. Found a homeless man’s phone and gave it back to him. Yeah. I’m proud of myself for all i have done this year to prioritise my mental health.

@lindorcarameltruffles: I got accepted into an amazing college that my grandmother once went to!

@MsDannyQ: In may I was approached by my landlady saying that we had to move by june 30. Which meant it gave us only 2 months to live. Within 2 months my mom and I found an appartment, we got everything set up, now we have our bills in our name and we managed to move without any issues.

Right now, we have just moved into the new place. It's been 3 days, and the appartment is nearly fully put away. I did this mostly on my own, but this is so easy and fun to put things where I want and make this place my home at last.

@positiveriver9935 : I realized that I do need personal therapy and have started to reach out to counselors. I have not seen anyone yet, but I am still trying to find someone that I can talk to

@positiveriver9935: I started my search for a counselor for myself earlier this year. And I'm proud of me for That!!!! ;+)

@MistyMagic: I have the wonderful honor of working on the Hobby Zone sub-community as Community Mentor Leader. I have a great team already with ChildGoddessFlute, Lou73 and Paprika001, I hope many more will join us and that we can carry on the great work of @Power!

@crimsonSea5594: I feel better and had a lot of positive changes.

Anonymous: I accomplished clear skin in March after a lot of hard work.

@azuladragon34: I finally managed to take a self care break to restore my mental health and motivation

Anonymous: I started loving myself more, feelng more confident in my skin, I'm adopting new habits to make my life better, I'm so proud of myself

I'm both a listener and member, and hearing others' issues helps me as much as taking about my issues

7cups is gift, thank you so much

Anonymous: Beginning to recognize my problems with addiction and self-harm, finally started to talk to my friends about it ^-^

Anonymous: After a long time I attended a support group meeting

@barncat: Standing up for myself in little increments

@Anonymous: Overcoming anxiety and depression and reaching my goals

@Keithg2208: I started to share my feelings.

@Rosemaryb21: reaching out to someone and for naking my emotions and intentions clear

@EmbStitcher33: This is sad, but something I'm so grateful for. I was able to reconnect with my son and help him transition to what ever is next for all of us. We chatted online every day until he got close and more unaware of reality on this side. I was able to tell my son I loved him before he died. I miss him, but I'm able to realize he's in a better place with all his suffering behind.

@bunnynugget29: i told my girlfriend my story

@FaithMagic : I took a step towards getting my mental health better by talking to an expert on TeenTalkline (in India) . It helped a bit and I am still searching for support to get my mental health better by looking for therapy sessions and good methods.

@kinderrrjoyyy: I was able to get a job this year after all the hardships which made me come back to 7cups again after the break and I am proud of myself that I was back again to help members and listeners in the best way possible.

@sunnyLion4273: In 2021, I lost touch with my intuition and I'm proud that in 2022, I feel like I regained it and feel more like myself. I feel more confident to do things like investing in my career and mental health and feel proud of the journey to emotionally heal and seek supportive friends. I'm grateful.

@Sociablestrawberry2202: In 2020 I was a cranky soon to be adult who absolutely runned away from responsibility. Never helped mom with chores. Always complained about work. Was going through so many emotions a teenager goes through. They feel depressed they feel anxious they feel unloved. And in the process of trying to fight to get better we forget to be kind and love our loved once. How can we not? When we are busy being so unkind to ourselves.. so unloving to ourselves. So much work and tears went into the process. I wish I could pin point every moment of learning but they are too small and too many to be remembered. Those small steps led to the big change which now I can feel and pin point. I have grown up. Finally an adult. But what's more important is that I am kinder then ever. I had always been since I was a kid but I forgot to be kind to myself in the middle. And ended up being unkind to others but now it's out, the kindness which had been everpresent in my heart. I am responsible, I get work done and I help my mother more then I ever thought is physically possible after having a tiring day. I still do feel anxious and depressed and unloved, but now I know how to be kind to myself and all falls back into place. I feel blessed that I can love not just in the heart but also in actions. And I can see that on my mother's face. Kindness and love when given comes back to you in so many ways. For me It feels like a bubble around me that protects me from the negativity and helps others cheer up. I successfully transformed into a kind adult and I am ready for the world to test my kindness love and patience. I think this is my biggest achievement and it will help me never give up. Ooff that's long. Hope you enjoyed reading!

@sweetrosa1987: I finally have a job!!! Working at an office building. 😊😊😊😊

@SparkyGizmo: I'm simply happy to be here and to be a part of the team! I learn and grow daily and it's a privilege for me to help and support my teammates. Something I am proud of is having longevity on the site. Sometimes that requires standing strong in the face of adversity and showing *true grit*. It's my favorite 7 cups core value. There is more to be said about a person in how they got back up, than in how they fell down! Fall down, get up, fall down, get up, wash, rinse and repeat! Happy 9th Birthday 7 cups! Thank you for giving us all an opportunity to be a part of something that is much bigger than ourselves. As always, *high fives* and big *hugs* everyone!

@Jaeteuk: I'm in the works of starting my own business, hopefully I could get it up and running in two years!

Anonymous: Got my dreamjob

@Tabbysflower: I hsve been walking around outside. Proud of myself. It's been hard to get out of the house.

@blissfultouch29; emailing a college about online classes

@NicholasW: I finally got the courage to start some photography and a website.

@marisa: I understood my main mental health problem which is anxiety and how to deal with it using CBT therapy

Anonymous: Finished course 6 of 8 of my certification

@RideARainbow: Ever since I can remember I wanted a home/nest of my own. Finally in 2022 everything just fell into place with divine intervention, blessings of my parents from above and my rock solid resolve, I will be moving into my own home, till now I have always lived with my parents and family. It was nice to live so cocooned but I missed spreading my wings. To top it all the apartment I have chosen is perfect to qualify as my dream home. So better late than never.

@sweetlife101: Getting to be on the Dean's list

@SynSavory: I became a fully licensed therapist

Anonymous: It's not a milestone or a big accomplishment or a goal BUT I am proud of myself of being able to do it. I don't even remember when the last time was, I had a good morning routine or go to sleep at a healthy time. I had years and years of unhealthy habits and routines. I woke up at 9:15 the day before yesterday and I woke up at 10:45 today after such a long time of not being able to wake up any time before 12. I also cleansed my face with a cleanser. Those are not big accomplishments/milestones or even goals, but they are enough to bring tears to my eyes.

@John07050810: My work

Anonymous: I have chosen me, and want to take care of myself for the first time in a very long time

@Aileen1114117: I'm happy I went to summer camp :)

Shoutouts for Others

From @MistyMagic to @KyleBorg: Kyle has been a hard worker in the Subcommunity Leadership Team, he has accomplished so much in his online and offline life too! I am very proud of him and wanted to have this moment to say thank-you!

From @MistyMagic to @FrenchMarbles: They are working tirelessly on the Needs Reply Team and also their Photography challenges in the Hobby Zone! Well done French!

From @MistyMagic to @FrenchToastClub: Toast works tirelessly for the Teen Transitioning Mentor Team. They are caring and easy to approach and make a great leader, thanks Toast for all your hard work!

From Anonymous to @fearlessClementine6325 Yes I overcame a couple of challenges one big challenge was that I didn’t listen to people who told me I shouldn’t/ couldn’t take band or Spanish because of my learning disability. I have accomplished a lot such as Spanish and band and I was in big classes when I was a junior and senior in high school. Feel free to ask me questions. I found my confidence in Spanish when I was in 11th grade of high school. Don’t let anyone tell you can’t do something. You might have to do it a different way who cares. You can do it.

From Anonymous to @Cassiopeia25: I finished my teacher training recently, despite facing the challenges of being autistic, and despite the fact that a few years ago, when my self-confidence was very low, I never would have believed in myself enough to take a step towards any career x

From Anonymous to @theriverissinging: They are doing so well with the sub-community re-organisation, and are always a helpful and professional and I enjoy working with them. I am so proud of how far they have grown!

From Anonymous to @ingeniousRecipe5155: This year they learned music and how to play guitar

From Anonymous to @CommunityModIris: For completing projects and becoming an awesome mod

From Anonymous to @Philosophical2741 :- Finally I go to therapy with regularity

- Im starting to detect my inside critical and denigrating dialogues

- After long time of being isolate in the relationship level, I could conect with someone even the thing dont end well.

- I share my pain with others, and search methods to reduce It.

- I found in 7Cups a safe space, where I can see the struggles and wins of other people, where someone is there to just listen and dont judge (its so reliefing!) and I can feel like a community not an alien by myself.

- English It isnt my first language but im writing and conquer that fear!

- This year I learnt that I have anxiety and im in process to heal

From Anonymous to @coldbreeze00: I never say this as much but it's not easy to be where you are, you have come a long way and I'm so so proud of you! Surviving grade 10 is an achievement in itself and I'm proud of you for trying, for standing for yourself, keeping up with the situations, for waking up every morning, for facing your fears, for handling your past life and still with so much going on, continuing to support others and being kind. I'm beyond proud to be one of your friends.

"And high up above, or down below

When you're too in love to let it go

But if you never try, you'll never know

Just what you're worth"

You are the best breeze, thank you for everything! Keep going!
