10 Things To Do When You Feel Unmotivated
“Life is a continuous cycle. It will go on and on. We should know when to move and when to stop. There may be times when you feel like doing nothing. This feeling of doing nothing can bring uncertain insecurities and uncertainties in life. But it is okay to slow down for a bit.
Slow down a little. There’s no need to push yourself when you have already reached the end of your limits. We have always focused on how to be productive and successful in life. We push ourselves to an extent where our body and mind need peace where it can slow down.
Here are 10 things you can do that can help you stay motivated:
- Just rest-Healing takes time when work or life becomes overwhelming. The best way to get yourself to keep going is to take a break.
- Be kind to yourself-When you are not able to meet the deadline or fail to do a task, don’t try to blame yourself for it. Accept the situation and accept yourself.
- Shift your focus-When situations get tiring, we try to pry things that could have gone from our side. There’s nothing wrong with it, as it is a common human instinct. But try to change your perspective.
- Talk to someone-We try to avoid talking to people when we feel low. Many try pushing others when they try to help. Don’t do that. Talk to someone.
- Stop consuming overwhelming content-There are times when we take inspiration from others, but sometimes inspiration can turn into analysis. We start comparing ourselves to what others have achieved, which detonates our mental health.
- Be in nature-A study says that spending time in nature helps to deal with anxiety and depression. Being in nature not only affects your mood or mental health, but it also helps to keep the immune and endocrine systems healthy.
- Understand life happens in cycles-If you are going through a rough phase, remember that there will be a time when you will be on the bright side, as there is day after night.
- Start again-When you feel that you are getting better and are motivated enough, start again. Take small baby steps. Try breaking down your tasks into small segments and start with the basic one.
- Focus on gratitude-We often tend to blame the circumstances and situations in life. We forget to look for the positive aspect of it. Start with looking for positive aspects of life.
- Follow your intuition-Change is an ever-going process, even when you are not trying to. Don’t worry about what the world thinks. Follow what your heart says and live by it. Don’t stop yourself from accepting life changes.”

All of this is bullshit. There’s no point to anything. Sometimes people take everything from you and you’re just expected to accept that. No. I won’t.
