something to think about..

Arie3 November 10th

someone once said,
"Every human emotion is valid. You just need a positive way to express it. Feelings only become poison when you suppress them and refuse to truly listen to what they have to say."

In other words,
Take a lesson from the seashore that must welcome and let go of ocean waves everyday. Your emotions are meant to be felt, understood and then let go.

@Arie3

Ooh definitely a lot of food for thought here and I agree, supression usually doesn't yield much, eats us from inside too but expression can be difficult, at least some space for acknowledgement and feeling the feelings could be a middle-ground at times hehe.

Love that seashore analogy, thanks for sharing, Arie!đź’›

@Arie3 Such a beautiful thought—there’s something so freeing about allowing yourself to feel, without holding onto the weight. Emotions are like waves, aren’t they? They come, they crash, and they pass.

@Arie3 Emotions are like fruit, they can ferment and become toxic, they can be wonderful and emotions make up our world, but just like fruit they can spoil and become a bitter drink that spreads corruption and pain
