She'd made herself untouchable
but deep down
she longed to feel someone else's arms wrapped around her.
Sometimes at night she closed her eyes
and clasped her hands tightly on either shoulder,
trying to imagine
if this is what it would feel like to have a person to hold her.
She hoped it was warmer than this.
