I didn't know the answer


until I saw

that flowers had flaws,

too


yet still

everyone thought

they were beautfiul.

A really lovely poem. So reflective and gentle, and such a joy inspiring theme.

I really liked how each stanza's syllabic length gradually increases after the preceding, as it gives the feel of an idea flourishing and coalescing as it is contemplated. Though it's structure is very unlike a haiku, it's feel and themes remind me of many that I have read; the use of nature to express a a simple idea that has wider meaning. Very, very beautiful.
