Dear 2025

For @KiminoSuizouwoTabetai, @DarkerPlaces (hope I got the usernames right) and every other beautiful soul in this world,

This may be a little early and I may not be very good at writing poetry but here goes-

Dear 2025,

We welcome you to our beautiful blue-green hive,

May you be a blessing to each and every sign of life.

For 2024 was such a mess;

A year full of life, death, love and stress.

From Rome, it took many loved ones along with his dear little pet.

But may 2025 pave the way in his being an excellent vet

Hope his bullies learn to be nothing but kind,

I pray that happiness, contentment and grace are the only things he will ever find.

For Kimino, our real life fairy godmother;

This beautiful girl who selflessly devoted her wishes for all other

And promised us all better things.

2025, may you embrace her with outstretched wings,

Please offer her success in her GAT exam.

And do not ever cause her any harm.,

Between her loved ones, let there be no wrath,

Hope she and her friends someday cross path.

Well, as for me,

From anger and unkindness, let me be forever liberated and free.

I hope I excel in my studies

And live a good life with my family members and old and new buddies.

Dear 2025, please keep us all safe and sound,

In every country and household, let peace and joy come abound,

Let all the wars and violence come to an end,

May we each make at least one new friend,

And always show gratitude for every good thing the Almighty will ever send.
