...See more This is just me draining some rage here. I know your intentions are good but please do not show empathy. But do feel free to offer feedbacks on my writing as I'm sure I need it. Sorry for being rude and absurd. Every time I fall short in something; Whether it’s a goal or upholding the family’s dream, End up showing a flaw or a weakness, In an instant, I become Somebody else’s daughter, Somebody else’s kin, I become  An inhabitant Of all the places you were careful not to tread. Like you can’t bring yourself To believe, To ever accept, That I could make such grave mistakes, Could hold so much filth In my veins. You stare at me in disbelief, That your own womb could ever produce Anything less than a spitting image of yourself, In body, purpose and spirit. And why? Because none of my behavior or actions resemble yours You were your family’s model child, Always seen and heard, Never hurt, Yes, You had never let that happen, You were built strong And I..... Am a delinquent. So, surely Surely, You’d hate to see a disappointment in me. And it’s not just you, But other people too Who play that card Just to get a reaction out of me. I know what you’d say, You’d say If it’s everywhere, That clearly deems it fair. But then, But then, whenever DAD fights with YOU, Belittles YOU, Abuses YOU, Why is he still YOUR husband? Why is it always YOU the one saying sorry? And more importantly, Why is he still MY father? Why am I held accountable, For simply being somebody’s daughter? Why can’t he Also just be somebody’s son, For once, For a change? Since in such instances, You only ever refuse to accept That we are all merely humans. But it is within our own capacity To be munificent or mean. Nevertheless, Even if we feel humane by being Arrogant, stupid, clumsy or bold; We all stem from the same soul, In our own ways, we all are just craving for love, To be seen by the ones that we see, Even you And me.

...See more For @KiminoSuizouwoTabetai, @DarkerPlaces (hope I got the usernames right) and every other beautiful soul in this world, This may be a little early and I may not be very good at writing poetry but here goes- Dear 2025, We welcome you to our beautiful blue-green hive, May you be a blessing to each and every sign of life. For 2024 was such a mess; A year full of life, death, love and stress. From Rome, it took many loved ones along with his dear little pet. But may 2025 pave the way in his being an excellent vet Hope his bullies learn to be nothing but kind, I pray that happiness, contentment and grace are the only things he will ever find. For Kimino, our real life fairy godmother; This beautiful girl who selflessly devoted her wishes for all other And promised us all better things. 2025, may you embrace her with outstretched wings, Please offer her success in her GAT exam. And do not ever cause her any harm., Between her loved ones, let there be no wrath, Hope she and her friends someday cross path. Well, as for me, From anger and unkindness, let me be forever liberated and free. I hope I excel in my studies And live a good life with my family members and old and new buddies. Dear 2025, please keep us all safe and sound, In every country and household, let peace and joy come abound, Let all the wars and violence come to an end, May we each make at least one new friend, And always show gratitude for every good thing the Almighty will ever send.

...See more                                                    This Heart All it does is bleed and break, Quite as delicate as a snowflake, But it can still cause ripples in the middle of a lake. So, mi amour, for your own sake, Do pray and hope to leave this heart in your wake  For, years ago, it vowed to ceaselessly give but never take And now, there isn't much difference it can make, Because when you are so empty and completely drained and in appearance, you start to resemble a deadly snake, All you can do then is be greedy and ache.
