I get lost in my words
They trap me in my head
It's a dark place
But there is a bright light up ahead
Should I go toward it
Or go another way

Time to runaway.
Happy thoughts come back
Only to be shattered by your hammer
Go away
I don't need you
I just need some therapy
Who doesn't

@Tinywhisper11 Oh no! Yes, it was nice to see him. Thanks hon. I was on the phone a bunch yesterday, discussing medical issues. The lady I spoke to had no idea what I was telling her. But she did call me ma'am the entire time which was chef's kiss. Love you xo 🫶💛

A very nice poem. I liked the idea of words themselves acting as both a place and a force. I think it highlights so well their power to move us, change us, or even enslave us. Whilst i agree with @Tinywhisper11 that it certainly has sad undertones, I think there is also a vein of determination and self empowerment running through it which elevates the mood of the whole piece. Good show ol' bean.
