Mind unravels, thread by thread,

Thoughts like ghosts that haunt my head.

Silent screams and fractured dreams,

Nothing here is what it seems.

Fogged perceptions blur the line,

Sense and reason intertwine.

Tangled thoughts, a web of pain,

Clarity just out of frame.

Lost in loops of fear and doubt,

Endless whispers drown me out.

Grasp for sanity in vain,

Drowning slowly in my brain.

Voices scream where silence should stay,

Twisting my mind, leading me astray.

I see my body but don't feel whole,

A stranger trapped inside this soul.

Starving myself, chasing control,

While poison pours to numb the toll.

Intrusive thoughts claw at my brain,

Dissolving reason, feeding pain.

If they knew the truths I hide,

They'd tear me down and step aside.

So I drink, I starve, I break apart,

Hoping to quiet this fractured heart.
