what I have noticed is had a stint of real sadness, really overpowering.
The worst yet is this constant shifting. Apart from the sadness that affected all areas even when I can normally suppress it enough to come across normal it’s just up and down. I can’t recall it being this bad in a long time.
today for example. Sadness to content, angry, back to content, sadness, happiness, now back to sadness. All for say average couple hours each, some I can understand why but others no.
Kinda enjoyed the sadness over the weekend bleeding into the beginning of the week as at least it was continuous.

That sounds pretty disorienting having the feelings shifting around so quickly. Can understand how it would almost feel like a relief to be in the sadness for a while because at least it's continuous. (Though you also mentioned that that sadness felt really overpowering.)
You said that you're able to understand some of the rapid shifts and feelings. What's usually happening with the ones you're able to understand?
I'm doing fine, just a bit tired. Work had been kicking my butt for a few days and I was straining/pushing pretty hard to get things done. Yesterday I finished the project that's been making things so busy, which means things will quiet down... and some tension must have released where I suddenly felt like it was okay to relax and realized how exhausted I was. 😊 It makes sense all the way around: it was helpful being tense while things were busy, and now that there's no longer a need for it I get to be tired and recover lol.

Lately I've been feeling more tired than usual. I'm overwhelming myself with planning for holidays and how to fit in traveling and gift giving budgets with the new half of my family (from my boyfriend). Right now we're not in the budget for Halloween decoration shopping and we're planning on going to his family's for Thanksgiving this year.
I am hurt by political things lately, too. The recent execution hurt me. And I'm worried about my mom because she hasn't talked to me and also because she doesn't seem interested in advocacy of any kind like I am.
Something that has helped me is being able to share petitions with my boyfriend and best friend. They care about things I care about which helps me because I feel so alone sometimes especially in how important abolishing the death penalty is for me.
I've also been really into nostalgic lately, like old cartoons I used to watch. That helps me return to "where I was"? and relax.

That sounds busy. 💜 With the budgeting, is it like you're trying to figure out how to reduce the costs for different things, or which things to cut away to save money?
The political stuff is tough. 🙁 I'm glad that there are a couple people around you who care about it. Otherwise, I know that feeling of, "The world is on fire and people are suffering and nobody cares. And the people who do notice the cruelty/injustice and care about it have no power to do anything about it or get anybody else to care about it." If you ever want to chat about that, feel free to reach out.
Glad that you have some things you're able to immerse yourself into to relax and feel some enjoyment. Can only stare into the sun for so long before getting burned out (even if there's maybe a sense of responsibility sometimes of "I need to look because if I don't then nobody else will").

Yeah, me and my boyfriend are trying to save up for some furniture for our new apartment. We've cut back on eating out which was most of our excess spending lol
