💜 How has your week been so far?
our weeks been somewhat hard that why we took a few days mostly offline. we got hurt here a few ago. we felt rejected and unseen, this brought back memories of things in our childhood. within our home and at school too. within our home we was different then our family. this was due to our faith and things we not wanted to do. we thought the swearing and not being honest was wrong. our other family members thought we was to honest and out of touch with reality due to our strong faith. so we was teased and puting down a lot by brothers and dad. mom most the time did not for them things. she was more about making one feel rejected due to her not getting her way.
at school kids saw us as odd and not fitting in we was also teased endlessly for our learning problems. also way we dressed in younger years as mom made most of our cloths.
what was said was "i not talk to people with DID". this we think we was feeling hurt and rejected. due to us being different and well unseen too. we kelp thinking what if we rejected others baced on their mental health issues. they not like that and feel rejected for something they can not help having. so it hurt very much to hear someone say that in a place that to accepted all with mental health issues.
so made our week kinda feel unseen and unheard. we doing better after few days away.
💜 What is something that you feel passionate about right now?
right now feel we are passionate about our faith in God. also about getting back into writing and art again. we really just got back into it after a few years not really doing much of painting, writing and just allowing our selfs to do art and writing. but lately we been taking time to do them things again.

Ah, sorry about the thing that happened a few days ago. If I'm understanding, you were talking to someone and they said basically "I don't talk to people with DID" and ended the chat. And then that brought back a bunch of memories of people rejecting and teasing you when you were younger for being different. Almost like in the present, this listener were rejecting you in a similar way for having DID.
It's possible that that listener just wasn't comfortable taking chats on that topic (sort of like some people don't take chats on sexual topics or abuse/trauma because it's personally triggering or they don't feel like they're competent/capable in supporting people with that issue). But regardless of the reason, understand that on the receiving end it felt like a personal rejection. It's upsetting to be talking with someone and then have them suddenly be like, "I don't talk to people like you". 😔

That's great that you're thinking about getting back into writing and art. And also glad that your faith has been supporting you. 😊
@QuietMagic
thank you, think you misunderstood as was not same person we was talking to that said they not talk to people with DID also no talk about sexual stuff was going on at the time. it was not a 7cups listener in chat was just another chatter that what was reason we got upset. as we could understand if it was something being talked about in chat that one could be uncomfortable about then them getting upset and saying something like that. but to out of the say that just because another' ask about why we use we and us. then us explaining why to a different chatter. then another one saying that really out of the blue. so that was more why triggered us and upset us. as it was kinda a lumping all people with DID as being same. so a sigma about people with DID. just like many without mental illnesses do to people with mental illnesses hope we explained it better this time
@stormieandpaws
Ah, thanks for correcting the misunderstanding. So it wasn't a listener but rather another member in one of the group chatrooms.
What happened:
-Someone else in the chat asked why you use "we" and "us".
-You explained to them that you're a DID system.
-Then this other person jumped in and said that they don't want to talk to people with DID.
Which is weird, because you weren't talking to them or bothering them or doing anything wrong. They just heard that you had DID and decided that they didn't like you because of a pre-existing stigma. (But you have as much of a right to be there as anybody else.)
Kind of reminds me of the dog from Up, except the opposite? "I have just met you and I dislike you for no good reason." Lol
@QuietMagic
yes that what we was explaining. we not want to be judged due to we have DID. as that just something we have it not who we be. we had this issue other places at times. few of them we end up leaving due to that and other reasons. our therapist had to explain to us we not the mental illness it just something we have. so when others rejected us due to what we have but unwilling to really see us as a person with that mental illness. it very much hurts was what we was explaining. would be like this to us. we not talk to people with red hair. due to their hairs red. we know it stigma and also a distorted thinking way that another has. we think it call all or nothing thinking. were someone put all people with something together. can distorted be like all math is stupid. we learned about the different distorted thinking ways.
so thank you for posting back to us that you now understand. what we was saying
