Have you ever heard about ''art of recycling'' ?
Thanks to creative recycling (indeed it would be more correct to say creative reuse) we can create new clothes and accessories for ourselves and for our home, toys for children, kennels for pets, vases for our garden, frames and object holders, mats, curtains , DIY furniture and much more.

Another term for this would be Upcycling. I do it a lot, it's fun, saves money, protects the environment and one can try out new skills.

Feeling really alone and with the current changes in my life, things feel unstable and uncertain and I don't know where to turn to.
Upcycling is great, I am a big fan of being resourceful.

What did you create by recycling something that had a different use? I made rag rugs from old cotton tshirts, sweatpants, and other used cotton clothes.

💡 What's something you are inspired to create next with recycled objects? I need to repair some clothes with my sewing machine.

Upcycling, ReCycling, or Creative Reuse ~
The “art of recycling”, I have heard of Art that used refuse (or now would be reuse) as a means of a medium in contemporary art. Or are we more interested in the means (versus art) or process of recycling?
It is interesting on how something can come from the earth but does not degrade, like plastic. And how there is an island in the ocean that is made from trash.
