System Speaking
Hi, I'll add a trigger warning for references to death, there nothing vulgar or very decsriptive.( I figured some ppl would appreciate the heads up).
I have a system, most people are familiar with the terms CPTSD,DID or odds, I'm not really into getting too caught up into labels, makes me not only feel boxed in but I have found that there is much to be desired in western medicine when it comes to mental health and the dsm, which is a great tool for insurance. ANYWAY I'm not here to bash anyone's choice of Healthcare or choice to ascribe to a certain mental health label. I'm just trying to make sense of the puzzle pieces of my dissociated life and I've found little answers in western medicine. I've found more help from hearing survivor stories and doing research on trauma and how the brain works myself.
With that being said I've survived corrupt daycares, medical experimentation, scouting programs like GATE, kidnap and murder attempts on my life as a child, ppl in pwr abusing their pwr at the cost of my safety and food security in a nutshell. I'm in a safe stable place now, but wish I could find people who get it and are willing to talk about their experiences.
I'm a stable system, meaning I've done enough trauma work to where talking about my experiences doesn't destabilize me. Hearing what others have gone through has really helped me make sense of what I've been through. i don't mind talking with these kinds of people. I'm here to offer support as well. That has been more help than CBT(or what i call talk yourself happy therapy). Sure it may have helped many people but not me. And when you have a system, history of dissociation, or complex trauma, talking urself happy will only do so much.if it helped u that's great π.
Well anyway I look forward to what u have to say. Let's be mature and if u had an issue with what I said, let's talk about it instead of being emotionally explosive.

Hello there, sorry to hear about all you went through, I can't imagine how difficult it might have been.
It's positive that now you are in a safe place and you are welcome to come and share in the forum in order to hear from others and have the support you are looking for π
Don't worry for your post, you have been caring to add about the potential trigger so it's all good! π
The important thing is that you can find what works for you, I agree that what can be useful for some people, could be not so helpful for others, so it's a good idea to explore more ways to improve own life.
Sending you good vibes!
- A little note/specification: I think you can find more people with DID in this community (click HERE) because it's not a Personality Disorder according to psychiatrists, so they linked it to trauma Support. -
Thanks so much for the help π

Hello WillingVase;
I am sorry to hear of the chaos of the early life, glad to hear your system is stable. I wonder myself sometimes on such matters.
In regards to βwish I could find people who get it and
are willing to talk about their experiences.β
