OCPD vs Autism
I just wanted to keep providing more insight to different disorders, and this time I wanted to share some imagery of the differences/overlaps between Autism and OCPD.
OCPD is not spoken about as much as it should be, and very many get the common term "OCD" mixed up with "OCPD" which in the last post, if you can not find the link here it is ( https://www.7cups.com/forum/personalitydisorders/General_2436/OCDVSOCPD_340637/ ) in this forum post I went over the differences of OCD vs OCPD. Thanks for sharing. Something I found interesting in the Venn diagram was that for OCPD, the strict routines/order are described as distressing (i.e. perfectionism of needing to control everything perfectly) while for autism it's described as joyful (i.e. alignment with one's natural way of navigating the world and directing attention).
