I'm a psychopath, AMA
I am a real psychopath. I know how it makes you feel. I made this if anyone has any questions about it I can tell them what the truth is. not one the computer tells you but a real psychopath telling you what the truth is.
Didn't read the full thread so sorry if this was already asked.
If you don't care about other people's wellbeing, then why do you do nice things?
@Richie15
simple really. I need better ways to well lets say inprove my way of living. living a life of being mean to everyeone only gives you poor social skills. If I help people I can understand how to show some of the emotions I don't have. even if I am just faking it. some people would rather me fake caring then someone not caring at all. Its a win win.
@DanielRiot
That's very interesting. A friend of mine is on the autism spectrum and he has a similar way of coping.
One more question (again, sorry if it's a repeat). What's the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath?
@DanielRiot
Hi Daniel, I'm curious (and apologies if this has been asked), you mentioned you have a settled life and this prevents you from doing things that would mess that up. What does a settled / good life look like to you? And what sort of occupation do you have? I imagine reading people but not reacting to them emotionally would have it's upsides...
Hi Daniel,
(I'm sorry if this question has been repeated)
I just wanted to ask, out of curiousity, Was it hard to answer this questions, the questions about who you are and how you became like that?
Im sorry if this is repeated!!
But thank you, if you answer my question...
@SaphirePaws
It was not all that hard. when you view things from the angle that I see things in you can go into a situation with a calm mind. humans love to ask questions. to know more about something they know nothing about. I am fine with telling people this kind of information because I aleady have had to tell others the same storys.
Hi Daniel! I've read some (but not all, so forgive me if this has been asked before) posts to this thread and found them very interesting. Thank you for creating this thread. I feel like people with psychopathic disorders are wildly misunderstood and I think that's because no one is comfortable talking about it. What I wonder is, what do you want out of life? What drives you, what keeps you going on tough days?
@Cheeney
to see the smile I bring to peoples faces......hahahaha no I keep going by the fact that I have something to do. If thats to help or hurt others it does not matter. I do all kinds of fun things. mostly video games. You have to see the little things in life that will keep you going. Not because someone says you have things to live for but to know that you have things that need to be done that will bring joy to your life. No matter what it is.
@DanielRiot That's very wise. I wondered this because humans are known to be led by emotions, both the ones that belong to themselves and those of others. The decisions I make most of the time are atleast slightly influenced by the opinions of others.
Cool, which games do you play? I just got Dragon Age Inquisition, it's brilliant.
@DanielRiot
What does it feel like? Emptiness where they should be something?
I don't get how you can fake certain emotions but not feel that way and do it so convincingly.
@blueTown8541
let me ask you a question. what does happyness feel like if you have never had it. You simply don't know. I go by words. I am grate with them. I cant spell worth crap but I know words that can make one feel safe. I fake emotions by see what others do when faced with a similer sercumstance. one benifet of being on here. I get to hear all kinds of people with all kinds of diffrent problems. I see people as objects yes but I see them as broken objects and I am the one who can fix what is broken even if it does not want to be.
I have so many questions but there's no way to ask them anonymously ahhh
@thelonesomerider
then start a chat with me as a guest. I am a lisener on here
@DanielRiot All right!
@DanielRiot It says I'm not allowes to
@thelonesomerider

@DanielRiot Damn >.<
@DanielRiot
hey Daniel. what an interesting thread! this disorder has gained a lot of popularity. so it is really great to have a first person perspective on it. i also have some questions for you.
1. what motivates you or what could motivate you to stay on track, out of crime / in other words do "good" istead of "bad"?
2. did mental health institutions/therapy have any positive effect on your life in terms of your psychopathy?
3. you mentioned other psychos. i am also curious to know - do you find it easier to spot them than the average person?
thank you upfront for your answer!
@atfirstChaoscametobe
In someone else's eyes I have done way to many bad things to ever be considered good in any way. I have bin in jail for over 5 years in total. I have only in lattley started to try some good things. You see I see people as objects. broken objects. I can fix what is broken. I am so good on this site because of it. I can see emotions and feeling without the judgement of my own getting in the way. so I can fix them in a manor of speaking. I found them all boring and pointless but I was honest when I did them so I now know what is broken with myself. As I said. I can fix what is broken. So I know how to fix me. how to stop myself from doing things that others would say is bad. Doing good does not make me feel better but If I am stuck on this planet then I might as well do something with it. So yes I can see what is worng with others much faster and without a need of more and more pain to someone who does not want to talk about it.
@DanielRiot Why are you doing this? Why do you care about this? Why do you want to let people know about your condition?
@SecondIntelligentWorld
knowledge is a wonderfull thing. I fail to use most of my emotions so there for I learn others emotionns. As to why make this post. I am not a bad person anymore. I am nice and people tell me I am a vary intresting person to talk to. People like to learn. I won't stop them. as It does not help me any replying to your guy's questions. You do. and what is the point of understanding if you do nothing inportent with the gifts you where given. for me. my gift is my mind. It is diffrent than others. therefor making it intresting. people like intresting things. so replying to questions helps them understand that not all people like me are monsters or killers. even if most of us are in jail.
What crimes have you committed? Do you ever feal the emotion of fear?
Hey, (don't know of its asked before)
Did you gradually became antisocial by environmental/social factors or you were born like this?
Take care. :)
