OCD for me is everyday and it controls me if only I could have friends who have it and would be willing to share there story so I would feel less alone

Hello. And I am sorry you didn't get any response earlier. It is sad to hear about OCD "ruining your life".

Would you like to tell us what kind of OCD you are struggling with the most? Is that more of activity type (like washing hands, checking the doors, counting things) or thinking type (being afraid of something to happen, obsessive thoughts)?

I know, from some of my own experience, that OCD can be also related to living under high pressure or processing the traumas of the past.

@imaginativeWest3273

i have the kind of ocd that I pick my hair from my scalp leaving me with not a lot of hair. It’s embarrassing. It’s life-changing, it totally controls me and I can’t stand it. The funny thing is is that I’m a therapist and I still struggle with it.
