Hey everyone! I have a question for everyone! Or anyone. What is one good way to keep motivation throughout your day. I a struggling myself with this and could really use some inspiration to become motivated in being more active with my life.

It's so normal at times to lose motivation, I read this quote somewhere that motivation is like taking a bath, you've gotta do it daily, which makes sense hehe.

I'm usually motivated with my goals and deadlines (if it's the need for motivation to do something within a limited timeframe).

More than okay to take time finding out what works for you. If you need any personal emotional support or just some compassionate company along the way, you can always switch to your member account (or create one, if you don't have it already) and reach out to listeners, member-support chatrooms etc! ๐Ÿ’›

Regarding your question:

  • What is one good way to keep motivation throughout your day. I a struggling myself with this and could really use some inspiration to become motivated in being more active with my life.

Keeping a journal throughout the day can help:

  • It can help keep you mindful and focused

  • Just "check in" regularly on how you are doing and feeling by writing on paper or typing on a digital device

  • If one has challenges with motivation, thinking them out by writing about them can help solutions pop-up

Another thing that can help with motivation is minimize the need for it:

  • Pick the next step to do so it is:
    very specific and
    very simple and
    very easy
    so it's not intimidating

  • Most tasks can be broken down into baby steps that are very easy so just focus on that

  • Eliminate the need for motivation also by setting up regular routines

  • Tiny Habits and Mini Habits and Atomic Habits books can help a lot with great motivation tips

  • Finally changing your environment or personal systems can make doing tasks much easier.

    Then you don't need much motivation and you can easily stay on-track.
