Motivation and a brief Introduction
Hey Friends. I'm sure some of you may have seen me on cups but I wanted to introduce me here. My name is Rui 💙. I'm a teen and I come from Portugal ❤️💛💚.
I want to ask you a bit about how you usually motivate yourself 💙.
We all know how motivation can be really hard to get sometimes. So I want to ask you, what methods/techniques do you use to get motivation to work/study or exercise?

So well my motivation lately has been spite. I know, not such a beautiful feeling and not everyone likes to talk about this feeling but this is really the only feeling that helped me to push through. I wish I had a healthier way to motivate myself but right now that's the only way that works for me.
You can maybe try to visualize the results if you study a lot or work a lot. And also remind yourself that you do it for yourself. It's not a competition with people around you but rather a competition with your past self, to outgrow your past you and become a better person.
I'm not using my own advice but it's a tough time for me right now and this one doesn't help me right now. But if you are in a better mental state than me then you can give it a go!

@Rui00 hi rui nice to meet you ❤ I'm lola ❤ motivation is indeed very hard. I think in theese times where you struggle to do things the most, it's important to not push yourself to hard. And be kind to yourself, so things you like doing ❤ orrr drink 10 cups of water, then you'll be motivated to run 🏃🏃 to the toilet😂😂😂😂😂😂 gives you a giant tiny hug ❤❤

One thing that helps me is having a kitchen timer. I set it for as little as 5 minutes sometimes and just try and do one thing for 5 minutes. Then I have a break. It helps me to stop feeling overwhelmed when I'm really struggling. And I am surprised at how much I can get through by just doing 5 minutes at a time.
