Believe in your intentions
Hi Folks,
Yesterday, I was listening to an Ed Mylett podcast. He was talking with a guest about how important your self confidence is.
One of his tips was that you can and should believe 100% in your intentions. So if you're battling a depressed mood today, you may not have confidence you can overcome it, so you probably lack self confidence about it. HOWEVER, you probably can have absolute belief in your intention to try to have a better day. And that should give you a confidence boost.
You may or may not have a better day, but you can be confident about your intent.
Similarly, if you're a listener, it may be difficult to be 100% confident that a chat will go well. However, you can be 100% of your intention to try to help, to be present, to listen, to be curious, and to be with someone.
They may or may not feel it, but if those are your intentions, it may make it easier to be confident to take that next chat.
