What is mindfullness?

Observing your life as it is happening

Accepting your current situation without judgement or struggle

Allowing emotions to exist without letting them control your actions

Why is mindfullness important?

Mindfulness is a special way of paying attention that can help with how you cope with everyday life, or return back from tough times, and there are great benefits for your physical and mental health.

Ways to practice mindfullness!

→ Eat mindfully [ Simply focus all your attention on what is in front of you]

→ Walk mindfully [ Observe what is going on around you, sights & sounds ]

→ Observe your breathing [ Free yourself from thoughts, worries & fears. Remind yourself of who you really are (your inner spirit) ]

→ Connect with your senses [ Touch, taste, smell, sound & sight. Put love and attention into the simple tasks of your day ]

→ Pause between action [ putting mini pauses between actions, and provide you with fresh energy for the new task ahead ]

→ Listen wholeheartedly [ Next time you're in a conversation, make it your goal to fully listen to what the other person is saying to you ]

→ Get lost in things you love [ incorporate more activities you love in your weekly routine, you happiness with rise ]

→ Meditate daily [ This can have a positive impact on your life. Increases your levels of energy, happiness, inspiration & inner peace ]

→ Mix up your routine [ Try a different route, visit a new place, try new food or try something new. When you're in a new place or have new routine you automatically become more present and mindful ]

→ Observe your thought & emotions [ Remember you are not your thoughts you are the observer of your thoughts. Observe them resist the temptation of getting caught up in them ]

Thank you for this! Your posts are really interesting and easy to read; I've definitely learned more about practicing mindfulness because of this :)
