Can you believe how quickly time is flying?!
I mean... who threw the clock??? Time is going by so quick ... it's not lending itself me feeling productive at all - I just feel futher and further behind and in the hole.
What are your goals for mindfulness this week?
Going to try to relax... work a guided meditation in hopefully sometime or restart the Eckhart Tolle video about Laughter on youtube.
How have you been mindful and/or enjoying the transition of seasons at the moment?
It's still hot in the 90's... the only season noticeably changing here is hunting and sports - neither of which mean anything to me.
I've not seen a single leaf change yet in my travels and the "smell of fall" isn't in the air but the herbicides for the cotton and soybean are - yuck!
So my mindfulness is indoor or on the road with the windows up -- enjoying the vibration of the road and some traveling tunes or just relaxing doing small task inside or taking in some movies/tv episodes.
Is there anything that you would like to add or suggest?
You can do task... not to just do them... but do them mindfully with intention. You can be aware of the textures or steps and conscienceously do them- not judging how well you are doing them or chastising yourself for skipping one or changing how you do the process but being aware of the process and being grateful you can do it, be grateful for why you do it, be grateful for each product you use to do it, being grateful of the people who made the products for the steps/process along the way and being grateful of the outcome.
Mindfulness doesn't always require you to just sit and be -- you can be involved in an activity and doing it mindfully.

HI Saima thanks for this check in. Yes I been mindful more so on my self care and sleep. Been doing a good job of it. Also the seasons don't bother me and I enjoy each season as something new to see
My aggravations are interfering with my ability to concentrate or get in a good focus state of mind. feeling stressed out
@SaimaK yes September is a transition month. We have had the hot weather of summer and the rainy weather of fall. Pretty soon we start getting cooler nights and days. Of course the tough part is it leads to winter with snow and cold. But all this helps us be more flexible. Feel the breath go in and the breath go out. Listen to the rain dancing on the ground! Feel the warmth of the sun defuse the cool weather. Smell the leaves as they turn colors, dry out and then float down like rafts in the sky!
What are your goals for mindfulness this week?
I'd definitely like to practice it more! I find meditation to be helpful, so I'd like to do it more.

I am enjoying the cooler weather (though it is still warm but that is part of the natural climate in my area). I am also
delighted to have the holiday drinks on sale now especially pumpkin spice lattes.

How have you been mindful and/or enjoying the transition of seasons at the moment? We do not have a big season change but I can feel it's getting cooler and I appreciate getting a break from the heat.
