What do you do for mindfulness?
Which mindfulness exercises do you do on a daily basis? Do they help you regain that balance we all seek?
For example, I meditate for 30 minutes each day. I focus on what i want in life, all the positive things that will come my way.
@Austin904
I don't do anything daily except live.
Mindfull stuff I do is
remind myself of the present when I notice my mind thinking of unpleasent memories.
Meditate in the bath.
Pay attention to the trees, grass, and stuff when I go for walks.
Try to always breathe 1...2...3...4...5...
Try to observe my emotions instead of feeling them or becoming them. Same if I'm in physical pain.
I try to stop thinking things as right or wrong and remind myself of how others may have a different perception.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

I wanted to elobaorate on being mindful of the present when thinking of the past.
When I think of unpleasent memories I get tensed up and start thinking of all the things I would have loved to do in return. I remind myself, I am not there. That was 10 years ago. I am older now. I would not do such things any more. I think of ways I would handle the previous situation as myself today instead of how I would have back then. I also remind myself that was me 10 years ago, and this is me now. We're not even the same person, so I shouldn't beat myself up for not being as grown up as I am today back then.
I meditate for 5 minutes in the morning. I also try to practice mindfulness throughout the day- usually I'll catch myself during a shower or a short stretch/yoga session, "observe" my thoughts and try to return to the present- all without judgement. It isn't easy, but it's worth it, imo.
Meditation and going for a walk listening country music
I try to meditate 10 mins a day to relaxing music. I also do the 5-4-3-2-1 senses grounding technique.
