finding Forgiveness

Sometimes we find it hard to forgive someone for things they have said or things they have done. We are human somewhere along our life we have made mistakes whether not too big or extremely big. Forgiveness is not the same as condoning ourselves or others for misbehaving.
When we forgive ourselves or others we are making amends with the situation. We make amends when it is needed. This is where we have heard the phrase " forgive and forge", sometimes it is easy to forgive and move on and other times depending on the mistake it is hard to forget because we do not know how to instill trust in ourselves or others.
How do you process forgiving yourself or others that have done something wrong?

How do you process forgiving yourself or others that have done something wrong?

I usually do not find it hard to forgive others because we all make mistakes. Sometimes people are overcome by anger or other emotions and come out with things they do not really mean. It's a different story though if a person continues with the same behavior. My response would be to take distance or cut them off if needed.
Forgiving myself is a different story. If I make mistakes, I forgive myself easily. If I hurt someone emotionally it can be hard to forgive myself.
