Daily Mindfulness Check-In March 26, 2022
Hello lovely people,
How are you today? I have been feeling down lately, so I would always try to go back to my happy place and calm myself down. Lately, I feel that there are just so many things happening inside me and around me that I am starting to lose control of my own time and energy. I am lucky that meditation and yoga are both helping me greatly to gain some traction and refocus my mind. On the other hand, my happy place allows me to let go of things as I know that whatever is the situation now, they are not constant. Life is just a roller coaster, right?
So what about you?
How would you describe my “happy place”? Can I see it now?
What helps you release tension and let go of distracting thoughts?

Hello ! I am sorry you're not doing well ! I also wanted to ask if you not longer wanted to continue the book club ? I really like it personally so I was waiting for it those last weeks 😊💓
How would you describe my “happy place”? Can I see it now?
It's just feeling peaceful so it should be anywhere.
But if it was a perfect place let's say somewhere in nature with many flowers and a river... And many nice things to do ! With a prefect sunny but not to hot weather.
What helps you release tension and let go of distracting thoughts?
Breathing and 54321 exercice helps me a lot with anxiety lately. Sleeping helps a lot as well ! And watching series and things like that stop the bad thoughts pretty well
@butterlycow you mentioned a lot of good coping techniques! What kind of series do you like lately? 💜

Hello @butterlycow, sorry sorry, yeah too many things happened in the past few weeks so I became inconsistent and I lost the part that I wrote last week. I am writing now for a couple of the chapters so we can all catch up. <3 Thank you for always supporting! 🌻
