Where did the LGBTQ+/MOGii chatroom go?
It has been a few months to reconnecting to 7 Cups. And when i return, I can no longer see an LGBTQ+/MOGII chatroom?
What happened?
@CaringSub Yes indeed; this is very unfortunate. In this day and age, when we need to address the emotional and mental needs of everyone, this seems like a step backwards. Was it that difficult to maintain a permanent LGBTQIA+ chatroom? It's not as if the current chat rooms are thickly populated 24/7! Pretty disappointed, really.

I hear you. I had seen the room listed 24/7 for over the last year, prior to taking the summer away from the platform. I had accessed the room occasionally. As well, with application, had a brief 'stint' in some Leadership roles, that included LGBTQ/MOGII room. Life happened & wasn't back here until recently. One of the reasons I return to 7 Cups was the 'visible' presence of LGBTQ room, and a 'feeling' of 7 Cups being visibly supportive because of this. And now, that the room is 'gone' (except for pop-up - I hear), my concern is that fellow LGBT/MOGII persons will (myself included), will no longer see 7 Cups as 'inclusive' for LGBTQ/MOGII persons. I am feeling less 'inclusive/safe/ heard' as a result of this decision by the 'platform'.
I will still provide support in my Listener role, in light of this decision. Still.....a sad day... :(
