Okay honest review of Mulan... I like that she chose to reveal herself as a woman instead of being forced to. I also didn't like this because it wasn't true to the original legend, where she was never discovered (at least in the one I read). It was way more serious than the animated and tbh wasn't as much fun. It was enjoyable and it was cool but it wasn't fun. I'd watch it again, but I still prefer the animated. Plus the love interest isn't there at except for a little hint and I'm a romantic who was disappointed that they didn't actually show them together. But he wasn't as hot as Shang so that was a bummer. Enjoyable, rather serious, slightly prefer the original.
About to watch this movie soon!
