What is Motivation?
Motivation is central to Leadership. It is an active mental process, initiated by certain needs and wants. It solidifies expectations, shapes and encourages dynamics, unique behaviours, actions, habits to achieve specific goals.
Why is Motivation Important?
Motivation is necessary to face high level challenges, to put our thoughts into action and pave the way to a vision, a goal. It improves self-confidence, self-discipline, job satisfaction, work performance and many more factors that a leader may perhaps consider essential to improve.
Important quote share:
“The question is not whether someone is motivated, but why they are motivated and what they are motivated to do.” - Elise Margol

When I was born I was the youngest person on the planet!

(c) As much as i love food i love being fit too (Bodybuilding stuff). 2. (a) A good leader should have massive self respect. (b) A good leader should be emotionally strong. (c) A good leader should be confident about everything (Knows how to lead the pack). 3. Self-motivation is categorized by 2 things in my opinion. (a) Passion & (b) Excitement A leader should be passionate and excited about the challenges, the achievement of those challenges, should know how to motivate his/her pack to achieve their goals and that's gonna happen when a leader is going to be self motivated. Thankyou!

Hi @Ines1229
Nice post! Hope I'm not too late to participate
- Tell us 3 interesting facts about yourself.
○ I black out easily anytime anywhere. In the mid of surfing, in the mid of bungy jumping, in the mid of bicycling, in the mid of rollerblading down a ramp. I'm older and more cautios now (hopefully).
○ Hit a tree when I learned to ride a motorcycle for first time, hit a wall on second time, salto and had a sprained ankle on third. But I finally able to ride it now even that I ride slower than a jogger.
○ I'm addicted to the deafening sound of water whenever i go up to a waterfall. The nearest the louder. It's scary yet peaceful.
- What are some traits a good leader should have?
○ High expectations, high warmth, self accountability.
- How important it is for a leader to be self-motivated?
○ Very important. Because before trying to lead others, we shall be able to lead ourselves well.
Cheers for leading the event Inez! 🍀

- How do you define motivation?
Motivation is the driving force to work towards or accomplish a goal or task.
- What is your proudest accomplishment on 7 Cups so far?
So far, my 26 (almost 27) day streak on the Growth Path! I also just shed my Newbie badge so I'm sure there will be more accomplishments to come.
- What keeps you motivated to get involved in Programs such as LDP here, on 7 Cups?
While I haven't formally applied to a program due to time constraints at the present, I am very interested in them. For now I am continuing to learn about the community on 7 Cups and maintain active participation in areas like the group chats. For me, the knowledge that I have helped another person motivates me to get involved.
@genie20
I'm really glad to hear that you are on streak with your Growth Path!
Being engaged and keeping yourself involved with the community is definitely a great thing to do, exploring and then going for it!
Thank you for participating and I really do hope to see you more and more involved within our community!!! ❤️
