Hello Leadership Crew!
I am having a blast with you all. This leadership program is a lot of fun and Im glad we are doing it. I think itll help across many fronts. Shout out to @aleks2 and @quietmagic for their help looking at the first batch of results on our leadership composition. ΓΓ
Here is a summary:
Here is a summary from @quietmagic on what our collective - all of us together - strengths and weaknesses might be:
Leadership Crew Strengths:
Altruism/motivation: Having a deep passion for helping people that drives all we do and creates a feeling of purpose and meaning
Idealism: Having inspiring dreams and visions of just how unbelievably powerful and beneficial this site can be: imagining all of the good we might be able to create, all of the suffering we might be able to help heal
Kindness: Being able to create a kind, cooperative, culture that is gentle and considerate with people's feelings
Compassion: Being able to understand, connect with, and feel an urgency to resolve the needs, concerns, or problems of the people that we serve
Relationship: Feeling a yearning for deep, meaningful connections with others, creating a community where people are able to be authentic and feel a sense of belongingness
Leadership Crew Weaknesses
Practical implementation: Developing and optimizing systems, managing the fine details for concretely achieving our broad goals
Risk-taking: Being willing to take risks or make drastic changes to existing systems/practices where needed
The above analysis feels/seems right to me. This new leadership program in fact can be seen as one way that we are attempting to address a growth area by optimizing our leadership systems! And, zooming back, if there was going to be a team of people that was going to try to pull off the impossible (a free emotional support system), then I think itd be with the leadership composition described above under strengths. Itll take a lot of optimism and kindness to make this a reality!
Okay, lets transition to the next exercise and discussion.
Begin by taking the Big 5 test and answering the following questions. You can also read more on the Big 5 here ΓΓ and below.

I am an extremely loquacious, social & fun-loving person which makes me a great speaker with an inspiring personality. My friendly nature helps people to approach me with ease whenever they need any form of assistance at the hospital I work.
@lyricalAngel70

@GlenM
Open-Mindedness (Percentile 95) - You enjoy having novel experiences and seeing things in new ways.
Conscientiousness (Percentile 63) - You are well-organized, and are reliable.
Extraversion (Percentile 80) - You are extremely outgoing, social, and energetic.
Agreeableness (Percentile 78) - You tend to consider the feelings of others.
Neuroticism (Percentile 53) - You aren't particularly nervous, nor calm.
What were the main things you learned about yourself? My score on Extraversion came as a surprise, I would not pick myself to be someone who is that outgoing or sociable in any way. My score on Neuroticism was also a big surprise, apparently I'm really neutral when it comes to being nervous or calm.
What are your top 3 strengths according to this test? My top strengths are Open-Mindedness, Extraversion and Agreeableness.
How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in your personal life? My strengths from both tests help me explore how to further my confidence and acceptance of myself. And reflects in who I be around and pick as friends/family, and the type of person I am.
How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in a leadership role in 7Cups and in your career? I think my strengths from both tests push me to be a better leader as I learn more about myself, and about the roles/responsibilities I take on. It helps me stay organized for details and times. But also sticking to the basics of rules, not putting in my opinion, just finding what is fair to move forward and grow.
For 7Cups its seeing how I can be the best listener/mentor/roomsupporter/moderator/safety/supporter/forum/adult-teen -- No matter what label you put on me, in the core I am striving for the same thing. And seeing how I can grow and learn from the community so I can further my reach of helping as I take on more responsbilities.
In my career (or school since I'm still very much on starting steps in my career), it is seeing how i can be the best influencer/helper/responder/employee/student/friend -- How being me equates to the person I am in the eyes of others. And what I can do to help and reach more people than I already do.
@AstronomySkies I love your results and the strengths you named. You'll definitely continue growing and furthering help with others!
1. What were the main things you learned about yourself?
I learned that I'm a very open-minded person, as well as someone that's very anxious. I'm a messier person, but I'm organized where I need to be.
2. What are your top 3 strengths according to this test?
I'd say being open-minded, being outgoing, and being sociable.
3. How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in your personal life?
They're very interesting! I'd say that learning your strengths helps you tap into what your weaknesses are, and from that point, you can work on the weaknesses.
4. How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in a leadership role on 7 Cups and in your career?
I think that being a friendly, open-minded person is crucial for leadership development. You're talking to people- training, organizing, planning, etc, and it's important to have a good way to talk to people
@GlenM
1. What were the main things you learned about yourself?
From taking this test, I learned that I am way more open to new experiences than I thought I was! I am generally a person who really enjoys consistency and "more of the same" in my life. So that was super eye opening to me! Everything else that the test told me really fell in line with what I was expecting!
2. What are your top 3 strengths according to this test?
My top 3 strengths accoring to this test are being open to new experiences, being organized, and being very agreeable.
3. How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in your personal life?
These are things that can help me in my personal life. Being open to new experiences helps me to move with the flow and work with new problems and challenges that arise in life which is something that frequently happens. Being organized helps me to keep everything in my life in order so that I am always on top of things that need to be taken care of in my personal life. Being agreeable is also a good thing in my personal life because being agreeable means that I am able to work well with others and collaborate.
4. How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in a leadership role on 7 Cups and in your career?
My strengths help me as much in my professional life as they do in my personal life. Being open to new experiences allows me to expand my horizons and take on new projects. Being organized is always good in a professional situation because being disorganized in professional work makes it really hard to stay on top of everything as is required. Being agreeable will help me to be able to collaborate with others in professional projects!
This was another great learning experience!!

I don't think I really learned anything new about myself, but just became more concrete of my own personality!

According to this test, I am reliable, organized and outgoing!
3. How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in your personal life?
The strengths I identified can allow me to easily connect with others and form strong, lasting relationships!
4. How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in a leadership role on 7 Cups and in your career?
I hope that my extroverted nature and my organization/reliability would allow others to be able to find comfort in counting on me to listen to them and help them to the best of my ability!
1. What were the main things you learned about yourself?
I learned that I am more stable in Neuroticism than I predicted before taking the test. I feel like this test is a good summary of the strengths that I have. I also learned that what I predicted before taking the test was relatively close to what the results were, but the results were a bit more closer to the ends of the scale than I was thinking. It made me feel like I have good self awareness.
2. What are your top 3 strengths according to this test?
Agreeableness - You are good natured, courteous and supportive
Openness - You enjoy having novel experiences and seeing things in new ways
Conscientiousness - You are very well organised, and can be relied upon
3. How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in your personal life?
These strengths can be used to find work roles that are suited to these qualities. It would be good to find a job that involves people, flexibility and challenging problems, but allows me to be organised and structured throughout my week. And in terms of social connections, I feel like I understand myself and how I socialise better. I'm more introverted, but enjoy spending quality time with others. It's given me things to think about too, in terms of looking out for things that make me feel worried or anxious.
4. How can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in a leadership role on 7 Cups and in your career?
Its helped me to identify what sort of roles I may apply for in the future. I like to be a bit more in the background, rather than a more assertive leader role. Its helped me identify that I might thrive better in a supportive role, or a role that researches solutions to problems. It has helped me realise my areas of strength, and the areas that I can improve on with a bit of practice and effort. It has been really beneficial taking this test!
@NoelLikesSunsets

2)Top 3 strengths according to the test: open mindedness,creative, critical thinker
3&4)How can the strengths you identified in both test help you in personal life and in 7cups leadership roles:
Both of the tests talked about my open mindedness, so this trait as strength can help to come up with fast answers and fast solutions incorporating teamwork and unanimity.Furthermore, both of the test also talk about creativity, and being creative in crisis situations can make the overturn less bumpy and benefit the company.
