Good stuff.
Leviticus 27:31 And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.
Tithe, meaning 1/10th, anytime you make money, if it’s 100$, or a 1000$, you’re suppose to tithe that amount and use 10% of those moneys for what God said to save it and use it for. I.E the Grain tithe, saving money on the side for food, either based on your money, or your produce you produce, a single papaya can have some 100 seeds in it, if you’re practicing tithing, if you took 10 seeds from a papaya from you bought at supermarket, and you planted 10/100 of those seeds, you will hav now 10 papaya trees, each papaya tree has around 30 papayas per its season of giving fruit, 30 x 100 seeds, planted again on your second tithing should yield you 1000 papaya trees. And tithing again, would yield more and more.
This is the same with tithing for other things Scripture instructs is to tithe on, Food, live stock, money, cloths, giving to help others in charity, etc. so tithing is a awesome rhythm of having practiced management of money and priorities.
Psalms 37:16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
David shows us, that money should be got through righteous work, labor, good deeds, etc, wicked money like stealing, swindling, or other means isn’t gonna work out for you, via wicked.
Psalms 112:3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
This on from David also shows that, with righteous money, you can endure more, to be proud of your work and earnings means you ld be prompt to make more based on your work, he also says in his house, so having it saved via banking and equity is hinted there to keep it fluent.
Proverbs 8:18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
It’s like famous businessmen like zig Ziglar says, money isn’t the most important thing to get, but it like air, on the gotta have it level. As Solomon states honor and riches is with him, you can have more integrity and dignity, if you have something to bargain and pay your way through, instead of begging or doing other matters to keep moving.
Proverbs 11:16 A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.
Solomon says again strong men retain riches, this is obvious he is talking about being strong minded, you can’t be careless with your money, and being strong as well physically would help this, your average or weak bodied person would be more suspect of being robbed by a gang compared to a guy who looks like hulk hogan, so it’s good to consider your physical shape should be up to par in certain situations, but we’ve got guns now, so it’s tit for tat. Still rather have a demeanor of a strong person both ways.
Proverbs 13:7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
Self explanatory, don’t waste your money, be frugal, invest well, and make your money work for you, not the other way around, don’t waste it on bad habits via gambling, too heavy on drugs and alcohol, or things that are frivolous, useless and are a waste of time.
Proverbs 13:8 The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
Guard your money, and listen to other people on budgeting and managing well, don’t think you know everything there is about work, money and business, the proof of a man’s wealth can also be found in his money, not to say you need billions to be considered wealthy, but to have management over it shows your value and Diciplines.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
Almost the same, many have inherited fortunes only to waste it, many win the lottery’s only to smoke it all away, it’s best to have a academia in business, with basic curriculums on the basics, credit, stocks and labor made money to understand how to prosper and manage the money and your priorities well.
Proverbs 14:24 The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.
Two parts, interchangeable, wise men have riches, and in order to get or retain riches, you must be wise with it. Same with foolishness, mistakes can squander it if you don’t choose wisely what you do with it.
Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.
Proverbs 22:29
Probably the greater fundamental of the lot regarding money, surround your self with wise and wealthy people, and you too will get wiser and wealthier, even on a simple stand point, Solomon states to report or get to kings, even your boss at your job or career can be a simplistic form of you constantly working to gain wealth, relationships are everything in the work force. Don’t waste time being with random aimless people, have a career where you report to your boss with a good healthy relationship.
Proverbs 24:4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
knowledge is power, having a decent education can go a long way, and seeking more knowledge ie books, classes and other Ava media you can attain more and more money and wealth.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
We see that not just hard work, being super smart stacked with masters degrees and phds can get you wealth, but just taking risks and chances on certain endeavors, playing the lottery, the jackpot, taking a chance on a invention can have its own reward. Take risks.
Jeremiah 9:23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
At the same time be virtuous with money as well, be disciplined to make money apart of a good life style, but don’t get big headed with it either.
A snip from parables of the talents of Jesus in Matthew…
Matthew 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
There’s several meanings in the parable of the talents, like Jim rhon states, with money you have to use it or lose it, don’t sit on it, and there is a principle of trusting in your management in money, if you can trust someone with money, you can trust them with other things as well, favors, job endeavors, priorities ect.
Apostle Paul had a good practice one too…
Working week to week put aside a sum of your money and saving up so you are dependent on no one.
- Corinthians 16:2
A wise man has oil and riches , a foolish man has folly and foolishness.
Proverbs.
Kinda ironic, the greatest investors all have a hand in oil companies, Rockefeller has made 350 billion dollars on oil dreading alone, so having a portfolio with some of your money in oil stocks or oil based business, will get you some pretty wealthy assets.
Psalms 62:10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
Like David who gets these virtuous from Abraham, who was fair in his work, looking to rip off or swindle his employers, but wanted his fair due.
Proverbs 3:16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
To go far, you gotta budget that money and be frugal.
Proverbs 10:15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
Many things can be extracted from this one, this goes hand in hand with follow the money, meaning if there is no work around you, go to a state or country that is booming in the industrial world, men need work, we lose our character and needs without it.
Proverbs 10:16 The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
Wickedness will lead to more wickedness, if you bought a car, you’d be longing to show it of or at least work it without any draw backs, while if you stole the car, you’d be hard pressed to drive it without getting into more trouble with the law or the guys it was stolen from, basic common stuff, but any people still do take to this wicked acts, so remember that any amount of extreme wickedness will lead only to more trouble.
Proverbs 10:14 Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.
Books, books, books and more books, book clubs, book stores and libraries, those is where your knowledge and wisdom will come from, along with even if you don’t have a large library and carry a few to several books, it can make all the difference of how well your mind runs, for like Jim rhon states, what you put in, you get out, books helps run your mental factory, and like zig states, tv and other movies only goers will have a small grasp on knowledge and power.
Proverbs 11:24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
Pretty much sums up stocks, credit, and, production and farming. All tie into together which the more you give, the more comes back to you, both in service and money.
Proverbs 13:18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured
Have mentorship, whether if it’s your boss, your teacher at college, your pastor, your coach, always have reproof. It’s not just about knowing how things work, but being shown the process and consistency is just as important.
Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Not so damn easy, gotta separate yourselves from certain people with bad habits, no resources or no right direction and foundation.
Proverbs 23:21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.
Limit that shit, drink only in a small dose of rewarding when you accomplish something, it because the game is on or it’s your friends birthday or other crap, limit those things to save you from wasting money on bad habits. Same with gluttony. Don’t go of excess of things, moderate it, gauge it and measure it’s potential and value.
Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
