@Tinywhisper11  Everyone loses some hearing as they get older.  That device isn't really designed for reading headphones.  It's for reading the volume in a room.  Can be helpful in setting up speakers I guess.  Just was something I was trying.  I still have that device.

@Tinywhisper11  I'm not a hearing expert, but typically what happens is people gradually lose the extreme highs first.  But you don't need the extreme highs to have decent hearing.  That happens partly due to being around a lot of loud noises.  In our society we are always around loud noises.  Some people more than others.  Don't worry about it.
