Did you know that Cat Fish can be trained to eat dog food? I took these pictures around 2009
Taking these pictures wasn't so easy. The fish were moving and also due to the low resolution of the 7Cups website, I decided to crop these pictures to make the fish look like they are closer than they really were.
What is strange about channel catfish is that if you toss dog food into the water, apparently they smell it and come to the surface. Eventually they will start eating it. Here is picture proof.

Interesting thanks for the pictures
@tryingtosurvive2024 😍😍 they look like little sharks😁 the water looks so clear. I love seeing photos and videos of water, it's very relaxing. Theese are masterpieces ❤
@Tinywhisper11 I do have a small video of it. I don't know if I still have it on my yt channel or not. Those cat fish are crazy. They scare each other, swim away, and in less than 2 seconds go back to feeding, until someone nearly runs into the other one again. LOL (((Hugs Tiny Whisper)))
@tryingtosurvive2024 For a picture to be taken in 2009 it sure looks very clear and professional! Love seeing demon looking creatures that stay on earth 😁😇
Awesome photos!
Taking photos of fish in the water is tricky!
Those are beautiful!
To cope with compression and low resolution of the site:
You can install the free software JPEG Compressor and resize to 500 x 500 pixels and compress to less than 50kb, which are the limits for the 7 Cups site. You can tweak compression so it looks the best possible. The software's resizing and compression algorithms are much better than those of the site. Then, upload the resulting file to the post.
JPEG Compressor: https://jpeg.compressor.software/
- Another option (you can do both) is to create an account in the anonymous pic-sharing site imgbb.com and upload the photos there. Then share the "Direct link" (under"Embed codes, the one that ends with .jpg) like this: https://i.ibb.co/hRzwn19/Fitz-Roy.jpg
This way you can share your photo anonymously at full resolution
@HealingTalk I got a question. You gave me a link to an image. Is there a way to embed the image into 7cups so that people don't got to click on a link?
Hi!
Embedding the photo from the hosting site is not possible. That would require a dedicated "button" or the ability to edit the HTML code of the post, which we lack.
All images uploaded to the site get compressed to 500x500 pixels and less than 50 kb, and have to be uploaded from your computer or phone.
You can upload the photo in this standard way, and place below a link to your imgbb uploaded photo with a text like "Click here to see the original photo clearly" or something like that

@HealingTalk I can't find my post, but I made post about a candle. The picture is a gif of a candle, and I posted a link to it, because I couldn't post the actual picture. I created the gif from video I made of a candle I owned.
Here is a still picture of it.
Here is a gif of it.

I tried to embed this hi-res gif from that same site using the magic wand button but it didn't work:

I also tried from Tenor.
This is an example of the trick I told you:
