Any Astrology or Tarot Card buffs here? Need your help please!

After my recent breakup, I started having tarot card readings online. I've always been into Astrology but casually. I have my tarot cards read at least one time per week. I don't use the same services, register or identify myself in any way. I totally get that this is entertainment only. I'm definitely not planning the next few years based on this. It's just fun. The problem is, many of the descriptions of my ex are totally accurate with respect to his line of work, his physical description, his personality, and his Astrological sign. I never give any information out at all. That kind of blew my mind. I have heard some say that Tarot is a form of divination. Does anyone know anything about this? The last few readings have been wild. I'm very curious about this now.

Hi there. I'm not into tarot but I'm into astrology. I feel like I'm kind of 50/50 about it because like you, I don't take it so seriously that I plan my life based on it but I've found a lot of insight from my birth chart and so have many others. Sometimes I'm way more interested in it than other times. If you're new to it, I highly recommend looking at your birth chart and seeing if you relate to anything you see. Cafe astrology or astro.com are good places to get a basic reading but if you want to go more indepth, you should search up specific things about your chart and look at multiple sources because people have slightly different interpretations e.g. if you have your moon in scorpio, google that and see what different sites say about it. There's so much to learn about astrology - the planets, signs, houses, aspects etc.

Since I made this post I've totally gone down the wormhole. I LOVE IT. All of it. Astrology, I knew a little bit about. But like you said, I examined my chart. Many things make a lot more sense to me now. My personality traits, etc. Same with Tarot. I feel like I've tapped into my subconscious and that's never a bad thing. I'm still not sure how it all works but for me having a little glimpse of what might be is like having a bit of a safety net. Everything in moderation, as they say. Interestingly, I noticed that there are a lot of psychologists and medical people who are into it too.
I've recently become interested in Tarot cards. It seems to be very interesting and exciting. I don't have my own cards, but I know that a lot of people address Tarot readers. And what about online sources? Are they worth checking?

I read Angel cards and use some other decks and runes, although not tarot. What i believe is that the veil between this existence and the spiritual realm can be gossamer fine ....in certain places, eg spiritual sights and at certain times...for example when we ask for guidance from a higher power we often receive it. My own belief is that we are surrounded by Angels and spiritual beings who want to help us. If we ask, with respect then a spiritual entity will most certainly respond. Cards of any type are an easy aid to communication between ourselves and the spiritual realm. Although we don't necessarily need them, we can communicate quite effectively and directly on our own. Spiritual beings want to help and do not fear horror stories of maligned entities. They are souls who have passed in distress and are struggling to process what has happened to them. If you wish to connect to a higher realm, then visualise yourself protected by a golden light and that way you will only attract positivity. The universe, our spirit guides and Angels only want to help. But do it respecfully and with an open heart. Keep a bright light around yourself and you will be amazed at the communication you receive. Look for patterns in numbers, songs that suddenly come on the radio with a reference you can relate to, feathers, butterflies sitting on your window sill for longer than usual....there is so much out there. What you need to know will come to you and at the best time for your own spiritual growth. Blessings xxx
