Seeing sunlight fall on an infant's hand, hearing the laugh of a friend I'd missed, watching birds fight the same way human couples fight, watching the men crowd around a dinner plate to share a lobster, hearing the tiny voice of a child bewildered, hugging a friend who was having a hard time
Going to the kebab shop and getting warm smiles from staff. 
My favourite part of today was finally arriving home (after a 9 hour journey) and being warmly welcomed by my cat.
I check my phone and saw she texted me.
It was texting Valentine wishes to my single friends who, like myself, feel left out of this lovey-dovey holiday celebration. They were surprised (upon receiving my messages), and appreciative.

Browsing around the new Wal Mart Neighborhood Market with my 5 year old. I took delight in the fact that he was so thrilled to see the 'fancy' new store!!
My favorite moment today was hanging out with one of my best friends.
@sbs146 I'm glad that you got to do that!! My best friend moved away from here about a year and a half ago so we don't get to hang out like we used to. We only got together once a month or so, but it was so nice!! Yay for best friends!!
@ChristiS @sbs146 - i've noticed with my best friends that even when i haven't seen them forever when we get together it's like we continue the same conversation.

My favorite moment about today was making a complete stranger happy just by smiling at them and wishing them a good day. Life is good, cherish the little moments
