What's your most recent achievement?
finally let go of memories of my ex that I've been holding on for years
@fluffymonkey - Good for you! Getting over an ex is hard to do and takes time, but is such a wonderful freeing feeling once you do!
@Anomalia Thank you! I indeed feel a bit better day by day.
I registered for a class at the community college and am going back to school for the first time in 33 years.
@Chele42
Thars great to hear! I Wish you luck at school!
Yesterday was the six month anniversary of my clean streak. No cutting or self-harm in six months!!!!
@purpleOwl6603
you are brave enough. well, how is everything going now? I am all my ears if you have something to share. cause, I am still struggling with mine.
@minnyi It can be difficult and I struggled for a while with almost breaking. You just need to surround yourself with positive things and people and they will help you.
Hi
I used to cut myself and my goal was to stop it and never do it again. Although that's really hard so I'm going with it slowly like 1 month then 2 months etc. The first time I tried it it only lasted for 27 days and then I was on it again. My goal was one month but now it's 2 months cause recently I reached 46 days clean from self harm! I keep going :)
@sensitiveShade5337 - Way to go, both on working to stay self-harm free and for recognizing what you need and setting realistic goals for yourself! Keep it up and stay strong!
@sensitiveShade5337 congratulations! Keep strong and keep going! You will make it!
im feeling better than yesterday. This is something, isnt it?
@undefining
That is something , and I'm glad to hear that.
I think I just got over my first love… the one that I loved for a whole tragic and long year. Now there's this guy and god he's beautiful and sweet and I'm just so happy in general💖
@ciaralynch - I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling so happy! Congratulations! :)
@Anomalia Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that
I've been able to make my brother smile and laugh a bunch of times. Sometimes he isn't the happiest and it makes me so happy that I can make him laugh. I don't know if it's an achievement but it makes me happy and I'm proud.
I deleted all social media as a way to try new coping methods. I want to focus more on the here and now and what's currently happening in my life and in my mind, and not having that constant connection to everyone else is very relaxing. Social media can be stressful, but it's really eye-opening to give it up for a little while if you use it as constantly as I did!
@scarletLyricist - Hurray for taking steps to remove negativity from your life and help you focus on the present - good for you!
@scarletLyricist
That is very commendable.
I broke off a very negative and toxic relationship which was making me very unhappy and causing me distress.
@svzyl1234 - That's really fantastic! You deserve happiness and love in a relationship, not toxicity, and I'm proud of you for taking a step in the right direction!
@svzyl1234 that's very strong of you. What do you think got you to the point where you could say no more? Thanks for sharing this.
