BOOKCLUB: Open to All

Hello everyone.

This is an attempt to open a book club sort of thing. It's gonna be super informal.

We can either pick a book and read ttogether. Or maybe we can just share about what book we are reading!

This is going to be open to everyone!

@LessMusical I just finished Pet Sematary, and my favorite book of all time is The Mysterious Journey of Edward Tulane because it is a reminder of my childhood. What's everyone's favorite book of all time? Im curious.

@fluttershy22

Hi fluttershy! Welcome here. Nice to meet you.

I've pet cemetery hard copy. Need to start reading it at some point. I like Stephen King content.

It's hard to talk about a favorite book. But for non fiction, it has to be books by my favorite author,  Professor Neil Postman. I have read almost all his books. His amusing Ourselves to death seemed one of the best reads.

For fiction, I guess it's still Harry potter haha

@LessMusical Thank you for creating this thread. I've recently been in a reading slump but this motivated me to pick up a book again :)

@kurkurechoco

welcome KurkureChoco! Nice to meet you :)

I'm glad you're considering reading books again. I have been in your shoes for a bit and it's still a struggle to keep up the habit but we must. Books are technology to expand our attention span while short form media are reducing it. I think we should read books even to stay sane.
