Search "Hotel626" on Google or hotel626 dot com. This is so creepy. Try to play this at midnight with maxed volume on headset and lights off at your room. I reached to the ground level to the car but someone killed me. And you might want a webcam too.

I'm totally not a fan of a scary video games, because I have a very weak heart and vivid imagination ^^; However I can recommend Layers of Fear. It has a captivating story with three possible endings, nerve-wrecking sound effects and music (like really, top notch!), "outstanding" visuals, incorporating real paintings from art history to its story. The levels were made by some insane genius - I love/hate the way they transformed into a state of complete psychosis.

It was definitely a terryfying experience for me, but it of course depends on the person. The game relys heavily on exploration and immersing into a story, so if you're into that kind of gameplay I can absolutely recommend it.

I can't play most horror games, especially first person ones xD the only horror or suspense games I play are interactive fiction, and my favourite is by far Slouching Towards Bedlam. Another good one is Anchorhead. Because they're wholy text-based, you don't get any cheap jump scares or effects, so they rely completely on prose and setting to give you that deep, unsettling feeling of dread.

@Melody293

I love horror movies but I literally cannot play horror games. It's just too much for me. :')

I would recommend watching Pewdiepie playing scary games for the laugh.
