Marie's Room - Free Steam title, powerful and beautiful
So I was browsing the free games in Steam to see what Indie titles might be worth an afternoon play and I found this one called "Marie's Room" that tells the story of a woman going back through her childhood best friend's bedroom and reliving the memories they had together. Both good and bad. The story is powerful, the music is soothing, and the graphics are great. The story definitely did not end like I expected it to but it left me rather emotional regardless.
Only takes about an hour or so depending on how long it takes you to find all the memory items. The last one was hidden in a stupid spot I never thought to look and I still clocked in around 50 minutes of playtime. GREAT game, highly recommend and I look forward to more of this studio's work.
That sounds like a wonderful game! I haven't gotten into gaming, but I may check it out

If you've never been into gaming then It's a definite good start! You can move at your pace, there's no time limits, etc. Just take your time and enjoy this wonderful (bittersweet!) journey of two friends.

I like Marie's Room and other relaxing games. I checked it out right away but I'm tired. I will try to play tomorrow.
