Do you play Video Games?

I love video games. I'm really picky though, and will only play something with a good story, or that has some kind of appeal to me. Mass Effect is my favourite trilogy (although I heard they're making a fourth?), I loved L.A. Noire, Spec. Ops: The Line is the only war game I'll play, theBioshockgames areamazing, Amnesia: The Dark Descent had me cowering in a corner, Oblivion and Skyrim provided me with hours of fun, I am a master (or think I am) at theTBOI games, and of course... WE JUST GOTTA PLAY DARK SOULS! Right now, I'm playing a game on Steam called Sunless Sea, and I have to say it's extremely captivating. Wish I was playing Bloodborne, though...

I often hear people questioning if video games are art. I offer this: in the end, art should make you feel something. A good video game always manages to make me emotional. I haven't cried as much as during all of Mass Effect 3 (yeah, the ending was a downer, but I digress), L.A. Noire made me jump out of my seat and yell angrily at the TV screen, Amnesia made me laugh hysterically out of fear, Dead Space had me thoroughly disturbed, and Heavy Rain found me in denial. Those are the games I like. The ones that are story driven, lore-heavy, and emotional.
