Hot Drinks for Winter
Hello good people,
Winter is knocking at our door. We tend to have more hot drinks to keep us warm and comfortable. Tea and coffee are most common hot drinks around the world. There are many kinds of teas and coffees around us. I personally love milk tea.
What about you? Or is there any other beverages that you drink to stay warm?
@TareqRafiqul
Hot apple cider, turmeric lattes and mochas, oh my!
@communicativePond1728
I love mochas too ☕
@TareqRafiqul
I had one today! A white hot chocolate mocha with an apple tart.
I do a lot of loose-leaf herbal tea. It seems to keep colds away.
@Enthenia
Herbal drinks are very popular all over the world now.
I have tried herbal tea and it tasted interesting.
@TareqRafiqul I used to not really like tea but there are a lot of other things I shouldn't drink or do sparingly. I tend to like the teas with fruit. I will do green tea but only if it's blended with something else. I also have tried some dessert teas. Strong teas and heavily sweetened teas I don't like.
I will do coffee from time to time even though I really shouldn't do caffeine.
I love tea and coffee. Does soup count as a drink?
@Creamyyy I think it could count as a drink, if you drink it 🧐 like in a mug or from a bowl
@TareqRafiqul Oooh, I love warm drinks when it is raining or freezing/snowing outside. 😊
I have a chocolate chili pepper tea that I enjoy when I really need to warm up on the inside, as much as the outside.
I also enjoy making a gingerbread hot chocolate (heat milk with hot cocoa powder, a tablespoon of Monin speculoos syrup) and top with whipped cream, cinnamon and nutmeg.
When I am feeling sad or down, I enjoy heating up a cup of milk, add a couple teaspoons of honey, top with whipped cream and a bit of ground cloves, and that feels cozy and comforting to me. 😄
@TareqRafiqul
I adore drinking warm milk with honey. My parents used to make me drink it whenever I was sick or my throat was hurting, but now I drink it just whenever I want, haha. :) It's so good.
@TareqRafiqul I love matcha latte for winter!
