Hey everyone when I get upset i write journals.. What u do when u are upset?? Tell me..

Same! I write and meditate/ practice deep breathing! Really helps :)

Yeah meditation helps alot.. Also watching the sky at night..feels amazing try that..

Writing is the most effective way for me. I tried listening to music loudly but it didn't calm me at all. Also, being left alone with yourself is very helpful. I sometimes try to do something in that very room only, whether that staring at nothing, sitting, scrolling, cleaning, until I feel a bit better then leave it there.

I’ll just prefer to be alone to gather up my thoughts and listen to peaceful music or just sleep too Hehe

Spend time with family and friends-They have always been there for me no matter what. They always are able to put a smile on my face and remind me of the positive good things about myself and my life.

Music-It not only helps me express myself, it helps me distract myself from whatever is making me upset, whatever, I am feeling, and whatever is going on in my life.

Mindfulness/Grounding Techniques- I often think in the past and future and do not take the time to be grateful, appreciate the present and acknowledge my emotions/feelings/thoughts/actions in the present moment until much later.I also tend to think in big picture view instead of learning to embrace and enjoy the small stuff and the process of getting and/or achieving the big picture view

I usually go for a run. And I realized the worse I felt, the further or faster I ran. It’s my kind of meditation

@quietSea1998 I do some deep breathing, then some asemic writing (writing in multiple directions, no punctuation so it looks kind of like graffiti but is unreadable to others), then paint over those words until I feel calmer. Listening to music works well for me too.
